The Breathing Association

A 6-week tobacco cessation group class, designed to help you learn more about how to quit and stay quit by identifying triggers and preventing relapse, will be available starting January 18 for $45. Classes will be held at The Breathing Association office (1520 Old Henderson Road) on Wednesday evenings at 5:30PM. For more information, contact Donna Ferraro at 437.1524.

The Breathing Association Free Lung Health Clinic (located at 1520 Old Henderson Road) and the Mobile Medical Unit (at locations throughout Franklin County) provide caring medical and nursing services by a skilled professional staff.

We help people get quality health care who:

Meet our income guidelines (Click Here to view our eligibility requirements)
Are un-insured or under-insured
Cannot afford to pay for health care, and have not seen a doctor in over one year
Have asthma, COPD, or other lung health needs.

Mobile Medical Unit (MMU): Tues. and Thurs. 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Air Quality

The quality of the air we breathe can impact our health. In the summer months, it is often on the most beautiful days that the air quality is worst. Cleaner, cooler, healthier air is everyone’s responsibility and we can all learn to become better stewards of our environment. Because air pollution levels are affected by the weather, air pollution indexes are now routinely part of local weather forecasts.
